“ Wow, what a find, especially when not from the area. Was looking for a Chinese buffet and struck gold. This is a beautiful place in a lovely Asian styled building, wonderfully decorated but most importantly, an amazing selection of Chinese food that was perfectly cooked, fresh and plentiful. To give you some idea of how good it was, my friend who came with me is married to a lady in the Philippines and said it was the best Asian food he'd ever eaten which is quite some accolade. Easily the best buffet I have ever had and can't recommend it high enough ”
“ The food is really nice in there and all the waiters are kind. They have an open grill where they cook a meat of your choice. Drinks come fast and filled right to the top. It is really well decorated and really clean everywhere. The toilets are clean aswell and have a unique design that looks really nice. Overall, this is an amazing buffet to eat at. ”

“ In all of my 60 years on planet earth. I have never enjoyed a meal as much as I did tonight at Hongxin in Swindon. The selection was extremely varied and every mouthful I had was a taste explosion in itself. My wife and I are expats living in Canada and we feel like we won the lottery visiting this fine establishment, as Chinese food in Canada is much less varied or anywhere as tasty as the food we ate tonight. Big shout out for the chefs, the staff and the spotless restaurant which we experienced tonight. If you are visiting Swindon and love Chinese food. Do your tatebuds a favour and visit Hongxin. And the price is just as good as the amazing food. ”
“ Cool experience for the kids. Loved how it looked like a real Chinese building. I was impressed with the cleanliness, especially the toilets. The mains were really nice. Puddings were not great. Very basic ice cream, sweets, brownies and flapjacks were not very nice. Reasonably prices though so can't complain. 13 per adult, 9 for kids for lunch. Meal for 4 50 with drinks. Staff were helpful and didn't mind my kids opening their toys at the table and being a bit noisy. I would go again. Duck and choc fountain is evenings only. Update... we visited again with a big group and it was still awesome! ”

The dirty plate robot is in desperate need of recalibration, he almost knocked over a table next to me but I got up in time to prevent the table falling and the glasses of the couple (who were off filling up plates) spilling everywhere. ”
